Q. I am uncomfortable providing my credit card information online even though it is a secure site. Can I phone in my order instead?
A. Absolutely. We understand and we want to make the process of using our website and our services at Gourmet Gift Baskets as comfortable as possible for all of our customers. Just phone us at (937) 324-9774. We will be happy to assist you and answer any questions.
Q. Do you ship baskets? If so, how can we be assured the gift will arrive safely?
A. Yes, we ship Monday - Friday. Sometimes it's through UPS Ground, sometimes Fed Ex Ground and sometimes through the US Postal Service. After we have completed the design with our cello wrapping and bow, we secure it in an appropriately sized box. We use filler such as styrofoam peanuts and/or packing paper tightly packed to make sure the basket will not shift. Gourmet Gift Baskets insures each gift for the value of the shipment at no extra charge to you. We value our reputation and we want all of our customers to be thrilled with their choice in gift basket companies, so we constantly strive to give you the best service. If you wish to ship UPS next day or 2nd day air, we would be happy to fulfill your request. Just call us for a quote on your particular package.
Q. Do you do fruit baskets too?
A. Yes. We deliver fruit baskets locally, but we'll only ship fruit baskets out of state in colder months. We refrain from including grapes and bananas in a basket being shipped because the grapes are too fragile to stay on the vines and the bananas will turn black in colder weather. We do use grapes and bananas when we hand-deliver locally.
Q. Do you ship to business addresses?
A. Certainly. We do this Monday - Friday during regular business hours. We cannot ship or deliver to a post office box so please make sure you state the address of the company with the office or room number, division, etc.
Q. What if I give you the wrong address?
A. Please be careful when submitting your information. Unfortunately, we are not responsible for an incorrect address so if your gift needs to be redelivered, you will be charged for the second trip.
Q. How quickly can I have a gift delivered?
A. If ordered at times other than holiday seasons, you may submit an order before 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, Monday - Friday, and we will deliver it the next day, if not earlier. We are not open and do not deliver on Saturdays and Sundays. A gift ordered on Saturday will be delivered the following Monday afternoon. If you have a special request that a gift be delivered by a certain time, just call us and let us know and we will do what we can to accommodate your request.
Q. Can I get my order rushed and have a same day delivery?
A. For an additional fee of $10.00, we can normally accommodate your rush request. This will depend on that day's backlog, your delivery address, and the time that the order is placed. Please call with your order to confirm that same day delivery is available.
Q. Does the cost of the gift include tax and shipping?
A. No. Delivery, shipping charges, and tax are in addition to the cost of the gift. Ohio sales tax is seven percent. Using our website, you will not need to pay tax unless you are placing your order from an Ohio address. Otherwise, an internet order will not be taxed when being shipped out of the state of Ohio.
Q. What if an item in a basket I choose is out of stock?
A. Due to availability, we may be out of stock on a particular item. We reserve the right to substitute a similar item of equal value (or greater value at no additional charge to you).
