Our founder, Lynette Evans, began Gourmet Gift Baskets in 1996 as a home-based, part-time business. By 1998, the volume of business had grown to the point where she needed to open a full time store. A location on busy First Street in Springfield, Ohio, became available, and soon the attractive shop had distinguished itself as an area favorite. After a few years, more space was needed again. Gourmet Gift Baskets moved in May, 2006, to the Bushnell Building (formerly 'Wrens') in downtown Springfield at 20 N. Fountain Ave.
The current owners purchased the business in September, 2011, and have been working hard to continue to supply high quality gift baskets to Springfield, Clark County, and the Miami Valley.
